Lyrics over whatever you are doing
The line being sung, on a panel above every window, that your clicks fall straight through. It never takes focus and never interrupts. Drag it where you like, or lock it in place and read.
The whole song, and click any line
Every line of the song with the current one lit, drawn over the album's own colours. Click a line and the real player jumps to it. A per-song offset fixes a recording the lyrics do not match, and is remembered.
One line, full screen, word by word
The current line big enough to read across a room, filling as it is sung. Lyrics with per-word timing light up word by word; the rest sweep across the line. Seeking and the transport still work.
A pill docked to the screen edge
Cover, line and a level meter in a pill on the top or bottom edge, tinted from the album art. Hover it and it expands into transport controls. It takes clicks, because it has buttons, but never your focus.
One thin line, and nothing else
The quietest surface there is: a single band along a screen edge with the line in it. No controls, no clicks, no focus. It sits over a maximised window without ever getting in the way.
A player card parked on the desktop
Cover, song, current line and transport in a card you put somewhere and leave, in four styles. Keep it above other windows, or sit it on the desktop so it is there when you look and gone when you work.
What is playing in the room
Not on this computer — in the room. A speaker, a car, a cafe. 9xLyrics recognises the track and then shows its lyrics like any other song. It listens only while you ask it to, and never in the background.

Tick up to four lines and get a card drawn from the song's own artwork, square for a post, tall for a story, wide for anything else. Copy it to the clipboard, save it as a PNG, or hand it to the share sheet.
