Key Features
Everything you need on Android
Use Android sharing and background transfers, then find finished files in your free Library. An active trial or Pro adds one-click, bulk, the browser and trimming. The Google Play build does not download from YouTube.
Library · Free
Find every finished file again
Library, collections and favourites are free. Browse thumbnails, search by name and share saved files using Android. Trimming and other Pro actions stay separate from organising your files.
Share & download
Share a link, then pick a format
Use Android Share to send a supported page or media link to 9xBuddy without retyping it. Review the available formats before downloading. Audio and subtitle extraction require Pro.
One-click · Pro
Your preferred quality, fewer taps
Enable one-click with Pro and submit a supported link. 9xBuddy chooses an available format using your preferred quality and starts the download without the format-list step.
Bulk · Pro
Queue a whole list at once
With Pro, paste multiple links or import a CSV/TXT list. Review supported playlist results and selected items before sending them to the Android download queue.
Downloads
Keep downloads moving in the background
Follow transfer progress in Android notifications while you switch apps. Pause or resume from the queue and find completed files in Library. Battery restrictions, data settings and the source can affect background transfers.
Browser · Pro
Detect media while you browse
With Pro, open a supported site in the built-in browser to detect media links. Sign in there when authorised content needs a session; availability still depends on the source.
Quality
Pick the format and quality
Review available formats. Free includes video up to 1080p and images; Pro adds audio, subtitles, MP3 and video above 1080p when available. 9xBuddy does not upscale video.
Editing · Pro
Trim a clip on your phone
With Pro, set start and end points on a downloaded file and save a separate clip or audio-only copy. Your original download stays untouched.

No. The Google Play build does not support YouTube downloading because of Play Store policy. Supported sites vary by build and source; only download content you have permission to save.
9xBuddy supports background transfers with Android progress notifications. Battery optimisation, mobile-data restrictions, network changes and source limitations can interrupt them. Allow background battery usage for longer queues and check Downloads for recovery actions.
The Android app adds native sharing, background transfers and a local Library with collections and favourites. One-click, bulk downloads, the built-in browser and trimming require an active trial or Pro.
